MINIKIDS PREP
5-6 YRS
Students are gently introduced to their chosen style, through basic terminology and steps. Imagination remains a key element of all Prep classes. Students continue to develop their posture, balance and co-ordination, improving their confidence whilst giving them a strong foundation to progress as dancers.
LEVEL T1 OPEN
12-17 YRS
Ideal for teen recreational dancers who want to build a strong foundation in Dance/Acro. This level focuses on developing body awareness, flexibility, and strength. For teens interested in joining our DC program in the future, enrolling in 2-3 classes per week is highly recommended to accelerate progress and to potentially reach DC Teen Level 4 or 5.
LEVEL K2
8-11 YRS
This class is designed for dancers who have 1-2 years of experience and a basic understanding of dance/acro terminology. In K2, students will continue to build a strong foundation in dance and/or acro skills. It's common for students to spend 2 years at this level to solidify their technique.

LEVEL K3 | ACRO | Gain more confidence in your acro skills! Students will work on developing the strength and flexibility needed to start to perform acro skills such as handstand, backbends, and kick-overs. |
LEVEL KT4 | ACRO | Students should be able to do a front/back walkover, one hand cartwheels. This class will explore intermediate level tricks to be used in choreography. |
LEVEL T1 OPEN | ACRO | This class will be an introduction level teaching the fundamentals of technique, strength, and flexibility of Acro. Learn the fundamental building blocks of Acro and have fun! |
LEVEL T5 | ACRO | Dancers must be proficient in flexibility, balance, coordination, and strength. Must have near mastery of walkovers, flexibility skills, and progressions taught in Intermediate level. |
LEVEL T6 & T7 | ACRO | Advanced Acrobats have the confidence to complete skills without mats and on performance floors without spotting. Dancers are also able to seamlessly perform Acro elements within choreography. |
MINIKIDS INTRO | ACRO | Acro Mini Kids is a fun, energetic, non-competitive, recreational gymnastics program which will develop your child’s acrobatics skills, fitness, coordination, stability and confidence! Children will explore their own creative movement styles through the use of games and imagination in a safe, positive environment. |
MINIKIDS PREP | ACRO | Students discover their own potential and learn cooperation in small groups as they learn partner tricks. The class includes warm-up, stretching, gymnastic skills instruction on mats using group games! Imagination remains a key element in this level. |
LEVEL K1 OPEN | BALLET | Children are gently introduced to the structure and discipline of a Ballet class, as well as music awareness and Basic ballet terminology. Students begin to work on body alignment and posture as well as developing self-expression through creative movement. Children will also develop and improve listening skills, motor skills, coordination, grace, rhythm and musicality, as well as social skills. |
LEVEL K2 | BALLET | Students will begin to learn correct execution of turnout and placement in basic positions; continue to develop their coordination; and focus on age-appropriate spatial and body awareness. |
LEVEL K3 | BALLET | Students will learn the traditional barre exercises in a technically sound and age-appropriate manner. Dancers are guided to develop a greater awareness of technique, musicality, and dancing with others. |
LEVEL KT4 | BALLET | Students have now learned the foundation of barre exercises and will begin slowly increasing the complexity with a focus on proper technical execution. Conditioning exercises are included in classwork to increase strength and flexibility. |
LEVEL POINTE | BALLET | This class is for T5, T6, T7 ballet students who have a strong interest in studying pointe. Students must have the necessary strength in their core, legs, ankles and feet, as well as meeting the necessary class requirements to be considered for this pointe class. |
LEVEL T1 OPEN | BALLET | This class is a wonderful introduction to ballet for Teen students with little to no previous experience or for those who wish to enjoy their practice at their pace as a recreational hobby. The fundamentals of balance and general alignment are introduced/ reviewed at this level. |
LEVEL T5 | BALLET | Students should have a good understanding of the proper execution of turn out, placement and port de bras. Teachers will continue to increase the complexity of exercises and introduce new material while focusing on correct technique and coordination. |
LEVEL T6 & T7 | BALLET | Students should have sound technical fundamentals and be ready for increasingly complex work. Students are prepared for the most challenging work with a focus on “clean”technique and artistry. |

LEVEL T1 OPEN | BREAKING | Breaking, also known as Breakdance, is an introduction to all elements of this iconic style.Students learn how to create their own style using the foundations of breaking. |
LEVEL T1 OPEN | CONTEMPORARY | Contemporary dance encourages dancers to be versatile in their expressions, being able to portray a wide array of movement styles and emotion. It focuses on spacial and body awareness, use of body weight, floor work, leaps, turns, efficiency of muscle usage, and safe body alignment. |
MINIKIDS INTRO | DANCE INTRO | A fun class for young dancers who are developing listening skills, motor skills, focus, reflexes, rhythm and musicality as well as social skills such as taking turns, sharing and good manners.
